Oleosome Sunscreens

Botaneco has recently released a bulletin regarding the use of Oleosomes in sunscreen applications. Oleosomes are the most natural multifunctional emulsifying system in personal care today. The new data demonstrates the benefits of using Oleosomes in both organic and inorganic sunscreen applications.

In Inorganic Sunscreens, benefits include
•    Enhanced dispersion of TiO2 / ZnO pigments for decreased whitening
•    Superior aesthetics and skin feel
•    Extended waterproofing

In Organic sunscreens, benefits include
•    Dramatically reduce UV chromophore levels (ex. 2.5% UVA/B measures SPF30)
•    Exceptionally mild on the skin
