PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE

1 Prepare phase A and disperse the thickener using a suitable dispersion unit (e.g. Silverson, Ultra Turrax);
2 Prepare phase B;
3 Warm phase A up to 70-75°C and phase B up to 75-80°C;
4 Add phase B to phase A at 75°C and homogenize using a suitable dispersion unit (e.g. Silverson, Ultra Turrax);
5 Cool down to 40°C under gentle stirring;
6 Add phase C and homogenize using a suitable dispersion unit (e.g. Silverson, Ultra Turrax);
7 Add phase D. Adjust the pH to 5.0 – 5.5 if necessary.
