PROCEDURE:

  1. Disperse Cosmedia® SP, then combine remaining ingredients and heat to 75 ± 3°C.
  2. Combine Phase B ingredients and begin heating to 75 ± 3°C.
  3. Add Phase B to Phase A and homogenize until uniform.
  4. Switch to sweep mixing and cool to 40 ± 3°C.
  5. Add Phase C and continue cooling until RT

  • Viscosity (Brookfield; RVT; spindle TE, helipath; 20 rpm; 23°C):  45,000-55,000 cP
