Description
AHA’s (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and PHA’s (Poly Hydroxy Acids) are organic molecules widely recognized for their potential to respond to the main skin concerns: aging, hyperpigmentation, acne, and irregular complexion. Both exfoliate the skin chemically, accelerating the removal of dead cells from its surface. In this way, they promote cell renewal, even out skin tone, and reduce signs of aging, such as sagging and wrinkles.
AHAs are small molecules that penetrate the skin quickly, ensuring visible results in a few days of use.
PHAs have a higher molecular weight with a slower penetration capacity.
Cetpro AA-F | Azelaic Acid | Azelaic Acid has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It is also an anti-keratinizing agent. |
Cetpro LBA | Lactobionic Acid | Lactobionic Acid (a type of PHA) helps prevent and reverse the appearance of photoaging, including lines and wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, enlarged pores and roughness. |
Cetpro DL-MAC | Mandelic Acid | A type of AHA used for a wide variety of skin concerns, from acne to wrinkles. |
Cetpro SKA | Shikimic Acid | Shikimic acid belongs to the AHA group of acids and has excellent exfoliating properties without causing irritation. Active antioxidant properties protect skin against premature ageing, whilst the acid effectively inhibits the development of Propionibacterium acnes. |
Cetpro TA | Tranexamic Acid | Blocks the production of melanin in the cells, prevents melanin from accumulating locally and dissolves the already present melanin. |
