Satiagum™ VPC 430 is a sensory thickener for liquid formulations made of Lambda carrageenan responsibly sourced from Cargill’s Red Seaweed Promise™. This readily biodegradable (according to OECD 301B) thickener is a viscous solution not impacted by salt addition. It can improve the glide of emulsions as a nature derived silicone alternative.
