Sales Coordinator

This position presents a unique opportunity to interface with almost all departments within the company as well as gain an understanding of suppliers and customers and the personal care ingredient industry, in general. This is a rare opportunity to work for one of the most respected, fastest growing suppliers of ingredients to the cosmetic and personal care industry.

Position Summary:

The Sales Coordinator reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and is a valued, critical member of the sales team. This position is focused on supporting sales department needs through generating and reporting of sales related data from our CRM program to ensure that team objectives are met. The efforts of the Sales Coordinator enable sales management to be more efficient and effective in driving revenue against budget and performance objectives. In addition, the Sales Coordinator provides our supplier partners with sales and pipeline data reports to help them better understand and manage their businesses.

In addition to the sales team coordinating and supporting mechanisms, the Sales Coordinator operates as the ERP/CRM manager with regard to product management. The sales coordinator codes and commercializes new products, ensuring their complete integration into the company’s systems and departments. A key part of this includes managing our master price book in our ERP and coordinating change notifications to customers.

The Sales Coordinator helps organize sales team meetings, helps to coordinate supplier visits and sales related events.

Key Strengths:

The ideal candidate knows how to operate independently, is extremely organized, efficient and detail oriented. It is critical that the candidate has excellent computer skills and comprehension of CRM/ERP systems. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) is necessary. Analytical skills are needed to interpret key data and strong communication skills are necessary to interface with all departments as well as outside of the organization.

Requirements:

Four year Bachelor’s degree required
CRM / ERP experience
Microsoft Excel proficiency
Ability to work independently without supervision, prioritize own time and have the drive and determination to finish tasks and projects on time.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Generate, analyze and distribute sales reports to sales management as well as suppliers
  • Code and commercialize new products, ensuring complete integration into the company’s systems and departments.
  • Price Book management – Entry of price data into Chempax and help resolve abnormal price issues.
  • Coordinate sales team meetings and sales related events.
