PROCEDURE:

  1. Mix ingredients of Phase A and heat to 75°C to 85°C. Premix ingredients of Phase B and add to main vessel.
  2. Mix ingredients of Phase C and heat to 75°C to 85°C.
  3. Add Phase C to main vessel when both are at the same temperature.
  4. Cool to 40°C, proceed to Phase D.
  5. Add Aminomethyl Propanol until pH reaches 6.0.
  6. Disperse effect pigments in Phase E until mixed in thoroughly.
  7. Add ingredients of Phase F stepwise, ensuring each one is homogeneous before proceeding to the next ingredient.
  8. Adjust pH to 7.0-7.5 with Aminomethyl Propanol.
  9. Qs batch with water

Remarks:

  • pH value (20°C): 6.9-7.5
  • Viscosity (Brookfield; RVT; spindle 6; 10 rpm; 20°C): 50,000 – 75,000 cP
  • Appearance: Deep purple, thick cream
