Miranol® Ultra L32 MB is a high purity preservative-free amphoteric surfactant that provides rich foam and low irritancy. It can be used in laundry, liquid dish detergent, and hard surface cleaner formulations. It functions as a mild emulsifier, solubilizer, and foaming agent. Its high foaming property and ability to reduce the irritation of other surfactants find use in both liquid dish detergents and liquid hand soaps. Due to its wide pH stability, it can be used in a variety of acidic or alkaline hard surface cleaners. It is also used in liquid pre-spotter and liquid laundry formulations.

This surfactant is a perfect solution for baby shampoo or body wash in addition it exhibits synergies with cationic guar to enhance the deposition of actives. It is COSMOS certified and could be used in high natural content formulations.

Miranol® Ultra surfactants are the best amphoacetates in building viscosity in combination with anionic surfactants, even without salt addition. Formulations with Miranol® Ultra require less amount of salt to reach desired viscosities, compared to those with betaines and glucosides. A beneficial consequence of lower total salt is improved mildness of the formulation.

Miranol® Ultra produces foam that is more homogeneous, containing smaller, more closely packed bubbles. This translates into high density, long-lasting foams that are perceivably richer and creamier than foams produced by conventional amphoteric surfactants.
