This oil-in-water sunscreen lotion formulation is designed to provide a globally broad spectrum, label SPF 50 performance. Sensolene® and HallBrite® BHB are included to enhance spreadability and contribute to elegant emollience. Six people in vivo testing yielded static SPF 51 in an EU lab. In vitro analysis delivered PFA (PPD) ~22 broad-spectrum performance with critical wavelength 379 nm.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
1 To a secondary vessel add phase A and start mixing. Heat to 80°C and add phase B. 2 To the main vessel add the Water and Glycerin of phase C, start mixing and add remaining phase C items in order. 3 When solids of phase C are fully incorporated, heat phase to 75°C. 4 When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase AB to phase C with prop mixing. 5 Add phase D to phase ABC with mixing. After 5 minutes start cooling batch and when the batch is below 50°C add phase E items one by one with mixing. 6 Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature, replacing any water lost to evaporation and mixing until smooth.
