AvoCap and OmcCap encapsulations separates the UV filters from each other and from other ingredients, thus preventing any interactions that may contribute to photo-stability. They allow for new UV filter combinations and have broad UV spectrum protection along with a smooth non-greasy feel on the skin. AvoCap prevent Avobenzone crystallization.

Procedure:

  1. Mix the ingredients of Phase A until uniform.
  2. Separately, mix the ingredients of Phase B until uniform.
  3. Add Phase B to Phase A slowly, with constant stirring, increasing the speed as the cream thickens.
  4. Mix Phase C ingredients.
  5. In small increments, add Phase C to Phase A/B with mixing, followed by 1 minute homogenization until a smooth cream is formed.
